KOSUN Joins Hands with ES; ES-KSN Joint Venture Started

In Jan 2014, ES-KSN Environmental and Equipment Co., Ltd.(ES-KSN for short), jointly funded by Egypt-based ES Company and Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd., was announced formal founding. It was designed to be responsible for drilling waste management services and R&D, manufacture and marketing of solids control equipment and waste management equipment, and it was also expected to further extend KOSUN’s industrial chains.

At the founding ceremony, Mr. Geng Feng, general manger of Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. and Mr. Tarek, representative from ES Company signed the contracts and addressed respectively. "Now, KOSUN is on the way to be an international company, and making a great effort to develop the global market, in order to accomplish the transformation over the networked marketing instead of traditional marketing and accomplish the strategic transformation over aiming at both international and domestic markets instead of only relying on the local one. For the reason of exploring new market and boosting larger sales, it has been a privilege reaching consensus with ES company from Egypt to jointly fund and build the China’s leading service enterprise in drilling waste management, i.e. ES-KSN Environmental Engineering and Equipment Co., Ltd. With this, we’ll be able to further extend the industrial chains".

ES-KSN has developed two business modules, of which one extend to R&D, manufacture and marketing of solids control equipment and waste management equipment, the other waste management engineering services, and has devoted to the integrated development of equipment and engineering services as well as provision of first-tier equipment and excellent services for all oilfields.

At present, Vertical Centrifuge, a new product by ES-KSN, has been put into market and got its debut appearance at Beijing CIPPE, held in March 2014, when it drew much attention and many inquiries from the purchasers.

Vertical Centrifuge is the waste management equipment specially designed at oil-based drilling fluids, a mixture of oil, water, organic clay and oil-soluble chemical agents. Due to its abilities to resist heat, calcium salt erosion and to stabilize the well wall, oil-based mud has shared wide applications in drilling platforms. However, its base oil--diesel produces toxic aromatic hydrocarbons whose amount accelerates not only the poison, but also the difficulty in waste management. ES-KSN Vertical Centrifuge can bring OOC down than 6%, effectively materializing green production and preventing oil companies from large amount of spending on drilling fluids.
